The above websites are all games we will play next week after we study force and motion. We will all visit the computer lab next Friday and spend time interacting with these games. Feel free to play on these ahead of time. Force and motion is one of the hardest concepts for kids to grasp at this age. Anything we can do to make it more enjoyable for them will just help them out!

Sickness
We know this is the time of year when the flu, stomach bug, strep, etc. tend to hit our kids. We are taking precautions at school by wiping down desks with Lysol wipes, spraying door knobs and light switches, etc. We could really use a few bottles of hand sanitizer to keep near our computers since all those little fingers are all over the keyboards. If you'd be willing to provide us with a couple of bottles, just send them with your child sometime this week!
When students are absent from school it is their responsibility to get their make up work. With 86 students it is hard to keep up with which students were absent which day and what work was turned in for a grade. We all have the same procedure for getting make up work. (The students know this procedure.) If your child misses three or more days, please call the office to ask for make up work. If they just miss a day or two that isn't necessary.
Please talk with your child about making sure they are taking care of themselves by washing their hands, using hand sanitizer, coughing in their elbow, etc. This is for their sake as well as ours. Thanks.

Character Round-Up
Last Friday, we made some memories that will last forever. Our whole pod performed "Character Round Up" in front of the fourth and fifth grade classes. They were absolutely FABULOUS!!!!!!!! We are very proud teachers! We think we have some actors in the making. We just want to say Thank you to all the teachers, students, and parents who helped to make this show one of the best character plays ever!!!! :)
